The Fairmont Waterfront employs a handsome, playful, four-legged employee to act as hotel ambassador. Morgan, the black Labrador retriever, greets guests outside the hotel lobby and accompanies them on strolls throughout the city. Morgan has received "The Royal Pat" from Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II, during her Royal Jubilee visit in October 2002. Morgan works from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, complete with morning and afternoon naps (he gets weekends off). Guests can simply phone the front desk to book a convenient time for walking or playing with Morgan. A puppy pack, complete with water, treats, and plastic bag, is provided by the Vancouver hotel.
